MindFood is an Ealing-based charity that supports people with depression, anxiety and stress to improve their wellbeing through gardening, mindfulness and horticulture.
We run our courses from two beautiful green sites in Ealing; Cleveley Crescent near Hanger Lane tube station, and Horsenden Hill near Perivale tube station.
Courses are designed to be a fun balance of learning how to grow a wide range of fruit and vegetables, whilst becoming more mindful of ways to improve our wellbeing.
Growing Wellbeing course
Growing Wellbeing 6 week course Tuesday or Friday afternoons
Our free 6-session 'Growing Wellbeing' course helps people to tackle stress, anxiety and depression in a natural way, by offering free food-growing courses at two sites in Ealing: our allotments near Hanger Lane tube on Friday afternoons, and at Horsenden Hill Farm on Tuesday afternoons.
The ‘Growing Wellbeing’ course is a fun balance of learning how to grow food, and how to put to practical use tips and techniques to improve your wellbeing.
It's very relaxed and informal, so don't worry about sitting in a circle sharing their feelings - a concern for many!
It's about helping to create a veg garden that's a world away from the pressures of city life.
As well as learning lots about gardening, participants will be introduced to the following wellbeing themes:
Wk 1 - Wellbeing 5-a-day
